Case Studies

Confidential Search

The strategic advantage of conducting a confidential search is often overlooked. We recently worked with a $150MM pet client to replace a SVP of Marketing that was no longer a fit with the changing needs of the business. The role was critical to the continued growth of the organization and we were able to help our client usher in a new leader with minimal disruption to the business.

VP Sales Search

The Grady Group worked with a better-for-you snacking start-up to identify a VP of Sales to launch their product into retail and foodservice. We identified 92 potential candidates and met with six in-person at Expo East, a regional trade show for the natural products industry. We presented 3 of the candidates that we met with in person plus two more that did not attend the show. Within a month, our client had interviewed all five candidates and decided to hire two, one for retail and one for foodservice. Six months later, both hires successfully established distribution in their respective channels, resulting in a threefold increase in overall revenue.

Promoted to General Manager

Eight years ago, the Grady Group worked with a private label paper manufacturer to hire a National Account Manager tasked with expansion into West Coast grocery. The initial hire has been rapidly promoted five times since he was hired, and now serves as the Senior Vice President & General Manager of the company’s entire consumer products division. He has full P&L responsibility and leads a team of 1,500 employees across manufacturing, supply chain, sales and marketing.
